Those who are certified as a Yellow Belt in Lean 6 Sigma have basic knowledge of the main tools that make up improvement projects and the path to carry out continuous improvement.

In most cases you will be a member of a medium complexity improvement project and/or lead ad hoc improvement initiatives within your organization.  

In Yellow Belt certification, the mindset concepts for improvement and innovation are better understood, as well as the steps and components of a 6 Sigma project. General notions of how to organize both your resources and improvement projects from generation, selection, scope adjustment and evaluation are also addressed. In addition, you will learn important concepts of classic Lean 6 Sigma tools, for process mapping and for understanding variation from the basics of graphs and indicators to interpreting and usage of this information focusing implementation of actions with results for your organization.

If you want to develop continuous improvement and/or innovation activities, participate in projects and/or obtain a certification required by many organizations, do not hesitate on registering for this course!

Target Audience

Professionals, leaders or not, who seek intermediate knowledge about the Lean 6 Sigma methodology to execute specific improvement projects, participate as members of larger continuous improvement project teams and/or follow the learning path to the following tracks

Methodology

26 hours workload.

  • Course with certificate;

  • 16 hours in class; 

  • 10 extra class hours (exercises and assessment);

  • Minimum grade of 7.0 to obtain the certificate;

  • The candidate will have up to 3 (three) months after the end of the course to carry out the assessment, at no additional cost.
